What do you do when your entire world is turned upside down? When the future you thought you had is stolen? It’s nearly impossible for us to understand the trauma that Daniel experienced when Nebuchadnezzar II and his army destroyed Jerusalem and carried he and his friends, Hananiah, Mishael and Azariah into captivity. The four young men were the future leaders of Israel. Their families were part of the upper crust, educated, wealthy, and with bright futures. All that changed with the coming of the Babylonian horde. Stripped of everything, all they had left was their hope in a God who promised not to abandon his faithful ones.
