With Us
Current Series | December 1 - December 29

With Us. Christmas is an exceptional time of the year – food, family, laughter, presents, and more. But, what sets apart any of these things from the rest of the year is their connection to Jesus. Because he came to be with us, presents mean something different at Christmas than at any other time of the year. Because Jesus came to be with us Christmas cookies are different than regular cookies. Because he came to be with us, December 25 stands out on our calendars.

Each of the characters in the Christmas story had lives that were transformed because God came to be with us. Their stories stand out in history, because of their connection to Jesus. In the same way, your story can have lasting significance and meaning, all because Jesus came to be with us.

We have a few ways you can connect with the community throughout the week. Check us out at our online Facebook Campus or YouVersion.

EVENTS COMING UP

Christmas Eve at South

Fellowship Opportunity | December 24 | 6pm

Join us this Christmas Eve for a special time of worship and reflection as we celebrate the birth of Jesus. Together, we’ll revere God, share in the joy of the season, and remember the incredible gift of His love. In addition to our Candlelight Service, we’ll be continuing our tradition of the Donut Drop! After our gathering, we’ll spread some holiday cheer by delivering donuts to those working on Christmas Eve. It’s our way of showing appreciation and sharing God’s love with those serving our community during the holiday.

Chair Crew

Serve Opportunity | Sundays

We’re looking for individuals or small groups to help set up the Worship Center for our Sunday Gatherings. This includes arranging chairs and setting up communion tables. With about four people, this task typically takes under an hour.

If you’re interested in serving in this way, please email Jennifer in the church office at jennifer@seekstudyserve.org.

Thank you for your willingness to serve our church community!

Kid’s City - Kid Builders

Serve Opportunity | Sundays

Think back to your childhood. Who was that one person who was not part of your family who had an influence on you? Was it a school teacher? Was it someone from church? How are you living out what they did for you? Serving in Kids City is a perfect way to be an influence. We have plenty of opportunities for you to invest in the spiritual lives of our kids once a month (or more if you would like). For more information email our Children’s Minister, Greta at greta@seekstudyserve.org

Generosity

Generosity is one of our core values. We never look more like Jesus than when we are giving. Your generosity is the fuel that enables us to minister to others.

Prayer Request

Let us know how we can be praying for you this week.

Blessing Bucket Request

Have you seen the bright orange buckets in the foyer? They are our Blessing Buckets. If you know of someone who could use a little help, maybe a gas or grocery card, or even help with something like putting a lock on their front door, we can try to help! Fill out a Blessing Bucket request and a deacon will connect with you to get more details. Another way to be generous is to drop a couple of dollars in the Blessing Buckets to help fund these needs.
