GROW
Current Series | February 9 - March 9

GROW – Being lazy is easy. We are surrounded by stuff that entertains and distracts. We have technology that will do work for us (write our text messages and emails, answer our questions, summarize web pages so we don’t have to read). We click what we need on our phones and someone else brings it to us.  All too often, we approach our faith this way. Are we missing something? As we read God’s word, faith is not lazy. Jesus calls his followers to deny themselves, pick up their cross, and follow Him. We need to be constantly growing our faith—working the soil of our lives, nurturing and growing who we are, so we produce fruit.

Chair Crew

Serve Opportunity | Sundays

We’re looking for individuals or small groups to help set up the Worship Center for our Sunday Gatherings. This includes arranging chairs and setting up communion tables. With about four people, this task typically takes under an hour.

If you’re interested in serving in this way, please email Jennifer in the church office at jennifer@seekstudyserve.org.

Thank you for your willingness to serve our church community!

Kid’s City - Kid Builders

Serve Opportunity | Sundays

Think back to your childhood. Who was that one person who was not part of your family who had an influence on you? Was it a school teacher? Was it someone from church? How are you living out what they did for you? Serving in Kids City is a perfect way to be an influence. We have plenty of opportunities for you to invest in the spiritual lives of our kids once a month (or more if you would like). For more information email our Children’s Minister, Greta at greta@seekstudyserve.org

We have a few ways you can connect with the community throughout the week. Check us out at our online Facebook Campus or YouVersion.

Generosity

Generosity is one of our core values. We never look more like Jesus than when we are giving. Your generosity is the fuel that enables us to minister to others.

Prayer Request

Let us know how we can be praying for you this week.

Blessing Bucket Request

Have you seen the bright orange buckets in the foyer? They are our Blessing Buckets. If you know of someone who could use a little help, maybe a gas or grocery card, or even help with something like putting a lock on their front door, we can try to help! Fill out a Blessing Bucket request and a deacon will connect with you to get more details. Another way to be generous is to drop a couple of dollars in the Blessing Buckets to help fund these needs.
