IMMERSE: PROPHETS

Immerse Beginnings taught how God chose a people to be His treasured possession. We learned that God covenanted to be their God. Immerse Kingdoms showed how His people repeatedly violated that covenant and the consequences resulting from their sin. Immerse Prophets is about the messengers God sent to call His children back to faithfulness. The prophets’ message: God expects exclusive allegiance, and He will not tolerate the mistreatment of the poor and vulnerable. In committing these two sins, Israel failed to be the light to the nations that God called them to be when he plucked Abraham from obscurity and made him the father of a great nation. Immerse Prophets reveals God’s patience and parental discipline through which he called Israel to live up to their covenant with Him.
