GIVE

Since its founding, South Lansing Christian Church has aspired to be a New Testament church. That is, we want to be as closely aligned as possible with the beliefs and practices of first-century Christians. For instance, we participate in communion every Sunday and practice believers’ baptism by immersion. We also aspire to practice generosity like the New Testament church. What does that look like? The Apostle Paul provided clear instruction on giving in his letters to Christians living in Corinth, a city in ancient Greece. His words were written to instruct them how to give. And, his words were preserved by the Holy Spirit to provide an example of how we should give.
