Hang around church for long enough, and you’ll hear terms thrown around, like “prayer,” or “Bible study.” For those who are newer to following Jesus though, those terms can generate more confusion than anything else. How exactly should we go about studying the Bible? What does it truly mean to worship? Two thousand years ago, Jesus touched on some of those same quesitons as he expounded upon the Torah in his famous Sermon on the Mount. The things he taught then can help us understand just exactly HOW we should be practicing our faith today. And, just like any good workshop has a set of tools that help get things done, every follower of Jesus has a set of practices they engage in that help grow their faith.
