DOES JESUS CARE--The author of the familiar hymn Does Jesus Care?, Frank Graeff, was known as a cheerful person and an optimist.  Nevertheless, he experienced times of severe testing in his life.  "It was while passing through such a test and experiencing sever despondency, doubt, and physical agony, that Mr. Graeff wrote this text." (Kenneth Osbeck, 101 Hymn Stories, p. 77)   This short series of sermons will explore the questions that Graeff asked in his hymn, and will ansere--as does the chorsu of the hymn--yes he cares!
