Comedy in the Park
Are you looking for some fun this fall? You can stop the search, South Lansing Christian Church is bringing John Branyan to Delhi Township’s Veteran's Memorial Gardens on September 12th. Branyan is known as “the comedian that won’t leave a fifthly residue.” He’s family friendly and very funny. For more info on this great event, click here.
Tailgate Kickoff
It is Study Group time again! We will be kicking off our fall season on September 19th with a Tailgate party in our parking lot. This year we are having a Chili Challenge--where each study group will make chili to be judged. That night we'll crown the Chili Champions for 2010. If you aren't in a group, it would be a great time to get connected. Email us today so we can get you connected early!

STUDY OPPORTUNITIES
Fall Study Groups
Are you involved in a study group? Do you want to try a new group? You need to get your group back up and running after the summer break? Over the next few months we are recruiting study group leaders and forming new groups. If you are interested in either, pleae email us!
The Big PIcture
We will be offering some short running classes on Tuesday nights at South beginning July 13th. We will be talking about the Big Picture of God's Story and how we fit in. You can sign up by emailing us or you can simply join us!
The Locker Room
The Locker Room is a men's ministry here at South. It's purpose is to teach men how to live free from the bondage of sexual sin through the grace of Christ and by applying Biblical principles in their lives. You can find out more info by visiting their page.

Chair Crew
We need help! We are looking for service minded people to help us prepare for worship every weekend. Helping set up chairs only takes about a half an hour and its a good workout. Won't you consider helping us? Maybe your study group is up to the task of taking 3 or 4 Sundays a year. E-mail us or call the office (394-3220) to let us know when you will help.

Making Announcements
Some have been asking about how announcements are made. It's easy. Simply email the announcement you need to make to office@seekstudyserve.org. Be sure to include a description, where and when info, and so on so we get everything you need included.
Reserving the Church
If you need to use any space at the church throughout the week, please let us know by emailing your needs to office@seekstudyserve.org. We'll get back with a confirmation of your request within a few days.
